Do I get to register for gifts?

I was with N this afternoon and we ran into B. She's in on the Sassy Pants/Friendster Guy saga but I hadn't see her in about a month so she asked how things were going. Our actual conversation:

Me: Friendster Guy asked me...

B: If you say he asked you to marry him I'm going to pass out right here in the street.

Me: (laughing) No! I was complaining that I kept forgetting stuff when I went to his house so he asked me if I'd like a drawer.

B: Oh! That's even better.

I hadn't really thought about that. This is my first "grown up" (i.e. not in college or high school) relationship so I don't know the steps or what have you. I think it's probably a little early for keys. Or maybe it's not. It might just be a smart thing to do logistically, or hell, as a way to make sure there is someone we can call if we ever get locked out. My sister an hour plus away is not convenient.

All I know is that I'm enjoying myself a whole heck of a lot. Drawer or no drawer. Key or no key. No need to rush. But no need to shy away from these things either.
